Question about 007 Airsoft Retailer

So knowing the site address from two years ago when I was the underage brat who kept saying he was gonna play regardless the 18+ rule, now that I'm 18 I notice on 007 Airsoft that certain makes of guns (full metal, such as Classic Army) are listed as "Not For Sale To Civilians" or something to that effect.

What gives? Is that just to curb the youngins from buying a full metal AEG and getting shot by police, or are they truly unavailable even after being age-verified?

It's due to the import laws here. There are plenty of threads addressing this but the bottom line is guns with clear receivers can be imported without any special license. Hence Ken and many other retailers have gone this route to avoid customs complications while still selling a quality product.

Thank's for clearing that up.

full black/metal guns are still VERY available in the classifieds.

Wait wait wait, does that mean even if you're age verified you can't get one? Or is it just a label to fool customs?

007 no longer sells them at all, at least not to the public. (Possibly to theatrical purchasers).

But here there is the classifieds and there are retailers that operate only through here. If you are age verified you will have access to them!

After the raid in 2006 (EDIT: That was of Will and SpecArms), 007 stopped importing black guns for "civilians". Word is he only does it for Movie/Film/Theatre, LE, and Mil. No it does not mean if you're in LE, Theatre, or Mil you can just walk in and get one, you must only use it for training purposes/filming or something and it has to be approved by the CFO (not 100% sure on the details as I'm not in Movie/LE/Mil but that's pretty much the basic process, if you need to know then you should already know the processes to go through otherwise you don't need to know).

Black guns are plenty in the Classifieds and there are people who do custom orders in the Classifieds if you can't find what you want. You can still get NIB or almost NIB guns (test fired or gamed a few times or whatever) from the classifieds.

In a nutshell, you can't buy black guns legally from a retailer. But there are lots for sale 'privately'.

Oh damn. Well, thanks again for clearing that up.

Get age verified and the doors of opurtunity fly open.

+1

Also, 007 has never been raided by anybody at anytime. The "Raids" happened in B.C. and Ontario, and many retailers were shut down forever because of that.

If only I was born two years earlier, I would've been able to order full metal from every retailer at once :'(

Well, what can we do.
