My finished(probably) M15A4!!

So after all those months of hard work, buying lemon parts, followed immediately by more hard work, then booze, then drunken hard work, I'm done!

Redone!:
Systema M120 complete, magnum motor
Modify S110+ spring, ultra high speed piston
triggermaster
G&P hop-up chamber (hoping to replace with Neo strike chamber soon)
Madbull V2 python (hoping to replace with prommy 6.03 soon)
prommy soft rubber
SCS
converted to deans.
SR25 front kit, 4-16x scope coming soon.
Part cost tally: ~$1100
Including unused parts (excluding bits now in M4): ~$1300

In my M4 now.
So... I gots
G&P mechbox shell(I actually bought a complete mechbox, but it was a lemon), spring guide, various mechbox springs, 1 piece hop-up, M120 motor, wires and trigger.
Modify SMOOTH highspeed modular, cut-off lever, selector plate, tappet, N-B electrolyzed cylinder(the one with the weird spiral groovy thing on the outside), and nozzle.
MASK piston+cylinder head.
Prommy soft bucking.
Madbull 6.03x510mm, M110 spring
Magpul PTS MOE grip
SCS

Converted every single connector to genuine deans/pigtails
Aimpoint RDS coming soon.
Parts tally: ~$700
Parts tally (including non-used parts for modify mechbox): $1000

Come to think of it, I really don't know why I posted this pic.... I don't have a pic of the mechbox... oh well

Hey man nice gun! I like the camo paint job, not over done.

Thenooblord June 7th, 2009 09:13

its not pink hello kitty gun? ;p
should be xD
either way, looks nice, but id be careful with that madbull inner barrel

Skladfin June 7th, 2009 10:59

looks very nice man. Though if you wanted 375FPS, you should have gone with M110, right now you might get as high as 420FPS.

and use Systema hop up rubbers, they make your accuracy go up quite a bit.

Hope that helps

Thenooblord June 7th, 2009 11:31

use KM V hop rubber and KM teflon coated 6.04mm TB

Amos June 7th, 2009 11:57

Phht, silly people suggesting medium grade parts!

Use a Prometheus 6.03 tightbore and a Firefly medium rubber :)

Lol... So far I'm pretty happy with the madbull V2's performance, it's light, durable, and after a good cleaning it's consistant as well. Guarder rubber isn't that good though... It kind of does the job okay lol.

What makes you say that.

yeah curious with that statement too, i have one in my mp5 and i'm really impressed on how good it's shooting!

yuhaoyang June 7th, 2009 17:36

As far as I know the long discontinued version 1 had some problems with the inner coating flaking or something. Although my memory is quite vague and I could easily be wrong.

ujiro June 7th, 2009 18:42

Hmm. Oh well. I've got a V2 as well and it is good quality. I have zero issues without it whatsoever and I am very happy with its performance.

Amos June 7th, 2009 18:43

old version 1 of the Madbull barrels the coating would flake like crazy and you'd have a useless barrel in a short period of time.. The new version 2 barrels are fine. I've installed them in a couple people's guns and they've been happy with the outcome :)

Way I see it: they're a cheaper alternative to Prometheus barrels for people that are on a budget.

I usually don't like the kind of camo but damn that looks nice as hell. I wouldn't change anything external at all.
