KWA vs. KSC ??????
I'm pretty new to the scene and i was looking at getting a KWA Glock 19 or a KSC Glock 19 (HW). They're pretty close to the same price so i'm torn ($15 difference) between the two. I don't know which brand is better then the other so any pros and cons would really be appreciated.
Thanks |
I would go with KSC because KSC has trade makr on the gun. For KWA, you will be disappoint for the trade mark. Nothing on it at all except MAKE in TAIWAN.

Quick answer. KWA is the no-trademarks and lacking the trigger safety version of KSC. KSC's have trademarks, the trigger safety and a slighty higher Quality Control check. Otherwise they're the same thing.
KWA's also come stock with a metal slide/outer barrel where KSC's will have a plastic/abs slide. I'd suggest doing some more searching on google for reviews of each if you're really interested. |
I personally prefer KSC, good quality products. Never had or held a KWA. KSC makes some very nice glocks. Ive only ever owned two but both were used for a very long time and made it onto to be sold when I decided it was time to change up the sidearm.

quick question, where exactly are you purchasing these from?
|
For KWA, you can do special order from the some retailer on Classified. For KSC, there will a one on ASC soon next week but it might be mine. :D

for myself, I had a kwa g19 and hold a ksc g17, I prefer the kwa g19 because of the metal slide, I don't mind for the trademarks |

I'm just comparing them for now... i'll have to wait till I get access to the Classified forum before i start purchasing anything. Quote:
If the only real difference is the metal vs. plastic slide, then I might just get the kwa g19. I don't really care about the logo not being on the side as much as the slide being metal. thanks all |
aiights, cool. Just making sure you weren't a newbie who was gonna by from outside the boarder.

I've had 5 Glocks pass through my hands since 2004, and both KSC and KWA have their merits.
Best bet in my opinion is a KSC model followed by an aftermarket slide after. Slides are theoretically importable, so it's a 100$ buy on top of the pistol, which will run you 200-350 depending on your luck. |
Thanks for the input everyone. I think I'm going to listen to most of you and opt for the ksc
