G&P CQB QRF

So i just got my gorgeous G&P today and like any other fanatic, i want to get upclose and personal. My first impression/dissapointment is that the gun is quite light. Lighter then i would have expected it to be, i'm not sure if this is normal or not. But from the description it says its vitually all metal. I'll assume its all aluminum.
But anyways, i want to crack that baby open and peek about its guts, but when i went to attempt to remove the body pins, i realized that these things are super jammed in there. I mean super stuck, i placed it onto a carpeted floor and with a Philips screwdriver, pushed on it harder and harder until it finally shot outta there. But the front one is even tougher.
I ain't never had this hard a time removing pins. Any tricks to get these things out?

I find some m4's are very finicky about how they are assembled/disassembled. Try removing other parts first like the pistol grip/motor, trigger pin, mag catch, stock/buffer tube screw and the body pins might come out easier. You need to remove those anyways to get at the mechbox.

I need to use a punch to get out a buddy's rear pin and on some guns they'll fall out! Luck of the draw sometimes on the fitting of things together.

If it ain't broke and shooting fine don't tinker is my recomendation though!:p

Ya, but i still dont want it to be inaccessable, i'll try to punch it out gently.

Others who have purchased any G&P completes. Have you noticed a difference in weight compared to others? i dont know why but something just seems wrong here.

My son has a G&P M4 Marine, weight wise, it's on par with Classic Army (shoots way better though).

We had to beat the pins out with a small drift pin. I guess it keeps the body nicely aligned :)
