JLS is another Chinese brand. Insofar as I know, there are only a couple F2000 models even available. These guys obviously, and I think Guay Guay was talking about doing one (not sure if they ever did). There is an extensive video review of it on youtube, so if you want to take the time to look it up, it should answer all your questions.

There's a British guy who made a YouTube review of it. Very in depth. Try searching for it. All of the reviews I've heard have said that it's a decent gun for the price. However I'm a bit wary of it due to the proprietary mech box.

Edit: Damn it Loric you beat me to it.

search flanker tanker on youtube, he's got a bunch of vids

That gun is ugly enough to be cool.

ive only ever seen these made by jls. so basically my question would be is the metal jls gearbox closer to BE or JG type quality and reliability?

Seriously, put in SOME effort to your own research:

This took me about 4 seconds to find that.

Harbinger says it has a proprietary mechbox. That means don't touch it unless you have a backup to use while you find and wait for parts.
It's also fugly and if it were worth making, marui or somebody would have done it by now.
Just get a p90. All the ugly and lots of available parts

Schwag April 4th, 2008 13:46

Reducers are used when a stock gun shoots 400 fps for example and you need to be at 350 for indoor.

It's not as ugly as the p90 but I look for ease of use/repair/parts/mags when I get a gun and you'd have a serious problem with this one. Would make a decent display piece.

manchovie April 4th, 2008 14:43

why? doesn't it have a v2 mechbox and run standard m4 mags?

Harbinger of Darkness April 4th, 2008 14:49

It has a modified V2 mechbox. The motor is mounted horizontally. Other than that it accepts all V2 parts. However it's the mechbox shell it's self that worries me with the FN2000. The metal in it seems weaker than other mechboxes. I'm sure it's fine if you leave it stock but I want to know if you can buy replacements should it break.

dude you live in the states. you have the airsoft world at your fingertips. i mean, my New TM M14 costs as much as the Star sniper rifle. just spend like 300 and get a CA gun and then an extra 30-40 on getting a new piston head and hop-up rubber. you are good to go after that.

Then get a job?

Sounds like a 16 year old kid. Stay in school and you won't have to flip burgers... And you'll speak better English.
