My Hi-Capa racegun
Took some advice from ILLusion on building this gun, and this is what happened:
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...w/DSC02163.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...w/DSC02137.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...w/DSC02131.jpg The breakdown of those parts is as follows: Slide, Barrel and Chamber: Shooter's Design Springfield V12 Inner Barrel: PDI 7 Inch 6.01 tightbore Hop Up Rubber: Nineball Air seal packing(the purple one) Loading Nozzle reinforced by Guarder Nineball dyna-piston inside loading nozzle Trigger: PDI 3 hole Hammer: PDI ring hammer(modified) Magazine Valve: Tanio Koba High-flow BB in hammer spring compartment Freedom Art G-MT frame with comp block(note the scope mount is not attached) Tanio Koba One-touch joint hider with short compensator(this one was pretty hard to get, but covers up the inner barrel mostly) Optics: Burris Fastfire mounted to Shooter's Design Sightbase(very hard to find a retailer with these in stock) Grip: Tanio Koba Finger-fits tactical grip it took me about 7-8 months to make get to where I am right now with this gun, after going through dentrinity, redwolf, UNcompany, wgc, power edge and tokyo model and then countless other online optics retailers before i finally got the burris fastfire. I know the lighting isn't the best in these pics, but I'll post some better ones later. any comments/critiques welcome. |
very very very nice, i am sooooo jelous.
Was thinking of doing somthing similar with my hi-capa but ended up doing somthing completely different. How does it perform? (it being a race gun & all) |
Thats beautiful.

EDIT: I'm drurnk., |
"It's beautiful!"
"I wanna put my dick in it!" "I want it to put it's dick in me!" |
ooh
I saw this up on arnies too quite a nice setup you have there burris ftw |
Went to power edge to test it out.
This gun clocks in at 391 FPS at the very highest. I was able to fix some of the problems by sanding the slide rails in the frame a lot. I also installed a guarder recoil spring. Now, it doesn't have any problems jamming. The last thing I'm going to change is the sear. I have a carom shot sear on order right now. The stock sear I have is worn down quite a bit and it affects performance drastically. Also, one thing about this setup is the tanio koba one touch joint compensator. Whenever I would fire the gun, the recoil would unseat the joint and it would spin. I was able to fix it by wrapping teflon tape around the joint's threads. I was also able to keep my v12 barrel straight by putting teflon tape on the threads to the chamber. |
Hmm. I wonder if that lower would be compatible with my WA...

It's all about the melt in dude. Slide mounted RDSs are excellent combat sights. They're so good for run and gun. I just got a Ultradot RDS. Very nice optics and CNC body. I've melted it into another slide which is going to be my rice racer. |
