You could run a battery sling, I use one for my MP7 MP5 and AUG

There is a large handgrip that was just released by STAR, I think it can fit a normal large battery for a max of 9.6V 4500mAh. Other than that there are the custom batteries for it that are I think 2300mAh. Don't know the cell size or anything but I know they exist.

STAR has an odd battery for that one. You need it split into 2 parts - the front half (with the plug) in a 2 cell X 2 cell configuration, and the rear half in a 2 cell + 1 horizontal cell configuration. It will only take an 8.4 volt setup.

This is the setup you will need, although you may go with more MAH:

you could of course build the battery pack above for less then ordering it speical from Asia. I know you can get redy made 7.2v batteyr packs here fro R/C cars in NiCad and Nimh configurations for cheap, just strip them down and do a custom job.

so, your saying youd love to build me one with larger cells (300mah+) johnny!?

Just replied to your PM.

If you get the large handguard, I can make you a pack as high as 4500mAh.

But a more realistic pack would be 4200 or little less (3800 or 3500 if you are on a budget)

Found it on STAR's site and heard I think maybe it was on Arnies that its designed to hold a large battery. They may have just meant a larger than normal battery and not a full large.

Kos-Mos March 15th, 2007 14:33

To what I found it can fit a large pack (Large packs are all made of Sub-C cells), but it requires a special configuration.

medhatboy March 15th, 2007 16:49

You can get a battery like this that is spose to fit.
