Marui P226 Magazine Filling Issue
Hi,
I've got a few Marui P226 magazines that have issues filling up. When I press the propane adapter down, gas sprays everywhere as though the magazine is full, but it's not (I only get a 7 or 8 shots at the most from a proper length fill). Some gas is getting into the mags, but for some reason most of it is just jetting out from around the fill valve. I can't figure out what the cause is, and google isn't working out.. Thanks in advance |
I'd have to say...It's a completely normal problem, they all do that.
Just hold the bottle in there longer (15 to 20 seconds) and it should be full. |
there aren't any o-rings in TM mags. you need to find some "silent fill o-rings". just did it on my TM 226 E2 mags and it's bloody brilliant.

I'll look into those o-rings. |
Are you trying different angles? Filling it's COMPLETELY straight up and down, orienting the valve straight up and down? The valve might not be completely perpendicular to the mag base.

Yeah I've been moving everything around trying to find a sweet spot, but no luck. Like I said before, I had a cheapy Skeleton Sidearms P226 before and filling it worked fine, so this seems like a strange issue to have with a Marui.

Same problem as my SS226 mag.
The problem is you fill the mag with propane to much. Probably the sealing rubber can't take to much pressure, and causing the mag to leak. We need to change the rubber to fix the problem so far i'd still no luck where im going to find that parts. (rubber for re-fill nozzle). 03ghost79 |
Keep in mind use ONLY green gas.
Why bec. No matter how much you fill up the mag it wont cause any leak, unlike propane. 03ghost79 |
Wow, that green gas sounds super,,,
No not really. Back on topic, Gabe, start out by borrowing an adapter that works from someone else and testing it on your mags. All TM 226 mags purge vapor when filling. If you dig around you'll find a nice long thread Mad Max wrote about why and how. |
