Unless your a cheap China man doing a old school PLA impression :P

Also no to universal smart charger and firefox mini 8.4 v - 1500 mah - battery. Lipos do it, 7.4 lipos. go http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...SOFT_Pack.html http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...cessories.html http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...0_240v_5A.html

NiMH Battery are useless and lipos are much better. Don't waste your money on NiMH Batteries. This is 2012 not old man ASC era of TM is best and Nimhs and nicads.

7.4 is lower than 8.4 minh and is better for the trigger contacts (lower voltage).

Also 7.4 lipo is like a 9.6 minh in terms of speed. So good trigger response.

In the future a smiple mosfet with a 11.1 lipo and instant trigger!

Also SAS are sweet, are you English lol?

If you're looking for boots, I found this on Dave's surplus' Facebook page. All of these boots are on-sale right now for 60 dollars a pair. Not bad prices and great boots (to boot, hurr hurr)!

I would stay away from 5.11 boots. They like to fall apart after two weeks.

Kozzie April 27th, 2012 21:25

Get midcap mags, they are more versatile you can always load them to low or realcap if you wish.

Intellect makes a much better battery than firefox, get an intellect battery.

Make sure your charger is programable. The Onyx 235 is a very nice complete charger. The 220 is also a great choice, it's a bit cheaper but won't do Lipo's or Life batteries. http://www.duratrax.com/chargers/onyx/index.html

Get good boots! Your feet will thank you for it. Magnum Stealths are a good boot for a good price.

I wouldn't suggest lipos for someone right off the bat... get a good balance charger that can do lipos and nimhs and you can decide later if they're right for you. There's nothing wrong with using nimh batteries.

Do the reading on lipos first to understand what they can and can't do.

Styrak April 27th, 2012 22:20

Get another battery, or 2. You'll need 2 or 3 mini batteries for a day of gaming.

I wonder who that could be...

Hydration is important, and camelback-type systems are mega convenient; be sure to get a carrier and bladder!

Knee pads aren't necessarily top priority, but they will improve your effectiveness overall by allowing you to completely ignore where you put your knees.

Knees down on gravel: Fuck
Knees down on roots/ rough vegetation: Fuck
Knees down on concrete: Fuck!
Knees down on all of the above with knee pads: No problem

i do them power slides to cover often many times have i slid into a rock, roots and once into a nail or sometimes right into my cover lol
