ASC website becoming VERY glitchy and slow
 

Is ANYONE else noticing? I keep on getting "server is too busy" messages, blank web pages, or I keep on getting redirecte to the home page. I thought it was my computer and after trying on my desktop and laptop, school computer, work computer, even the computers at the library. It is the same. Whats going on? It gets really frustrating trying to post something. I am not a compter dummy. Admins, any ideas?

Um not having any of these issues? All me pc's at home and at work are loading ASC just fine not slow speeds or glitches..

I am getting these issues too. Mostly I get redirected to the main page. Really annoying

I noticed the both of you are using the same IP?

The problem is probably on your end since you're both experiencing the same problem on the same network/computer.

Try clearing your cache?

No issues here; home, work, blackberry..

Same, no issues here, but what's throwing me off is that the OP indicated different locations.

OP, do the following:
[windows key] + 'R'
type 'cmd'
type 'ipconfig /release'
wait for it to do it's thing
type 'ipconfig /renew'

-or-

pull the power supply of any modems and routers, wait 10 minutes, plug back in

-then-

clear the cache of your browser

Is ASC the only afflicted site?

No issues here but is it possibly the "daylight saving time" bug in the forum software that's redirecting you to blank pages and all that?

I have no issues here, the last time anything was up with me was when daylight savings bugged the site.

obviously you wanna set it to Always Off now, until DST is back in effect (then switch it to Always On)

yea ASC is the only affected site. Facebook and other picture heavy sites work fine. I can load a 7min youtube video faster than this thread here loads. I tried your solution, still the same. Dunno whats wrong :confused:
