Guarder Parts For TM Glock 17?

Hey so, just wondering about Guarder parts for the TM glock?, From what I heard from some airsofters, their slides suck? and are more for display than actual performance? however are their frames alright? just wondering

I have a new version guarder glock frame and it rocks!

The frame indeed does rock! Metal mag release button is a bit of a tight fit and since it's steel, with wreck your mags a bit (mostly cosmetic). Quite please with the 150% recoil spring and steel guide. If it's a new glock, don't bother with the stronger hammer spring.
Never tried the slides but I got the same feedback than you on quite a few forums...

Frame looks better than the stock TM(realistic marking), not much actual gain from it apart from that. Their QC is still suspect. The slide for Glock is ok, they do make steel slide for TM, which is nice.

^Sorry to say but that it wrong. They are reinforced at the front where glocks usually break with metal threads instead of plastic ones. Also the entire thing is nylon fiber which is stronger than abs plastic. For the QC I cannot say, mine was perfect but I only have one so I cannot comment.

Brand new Guarder frame....not much of reinforcement if there are no material around it....

Fixed it with some liberal application of JB weld. The old version of their frame don't have that insert, so they are literally no better than TM aside from marking.

hmm ok i guess i can go for the frame i guess, however i like how they have many cool and diverse engravings on the slides but just heard they dont perform well not sure what though.

I have had 2 of their steel/stainless steel slide for my G17(old version for SS, new version for steel), and their old and new version of the G17 steel barrel(old version is one piece machined, new version is cast chamber and thread on machined barrel). The old barrel works with both version of the slide. The new barrel doesn't work(at least I never got it to work) with either version of the slide. YMMV on that case.

With the working slide though the gun runs pretty much perfect. Aside from the heavy mass which will kill your mileage and adds cool down, the gun has no issue function wise. Heavier rate recoil spring is a must(the included 200% spring works, but supplementing that is recommended). Their newer aluminum slide(labeled as 7075 Aluminum) should be largely similar with their newer steel slide, which are both CNCed not cast like their HiCapa/1911/P226/Beretta...etc stuff. So fitment is better. My guess is because Glock slides are relatively easy to make compare to all of those....

As with all metal bits for GBBs, some fitting are to be expected...

If only they made the new gen 3/4 grips.

Touche' for the most part but hey, at least its stronger than plastic. JB weld method is good just hard to get in there accurately. What do you use to get the jb weld in there nice without getting it in places you don't want it?

Got a few Guarder metal slides, enhanced recoil springs, stainless steel outer barrels with chambers for my TM Glocks. Engravings are deep and crisp, quality is good.

I bought a Guarder Tan TF 141 slide and the engravings are deep and chrisp, and the laser etchings are great too. The only complaint I have is the slide will not cycle with the factory TM barrel and recoil spring.
