I love it, but not at that price....do they come in tan-only or multicam ?

Are these meant for some level of direct ballistic protection or just flying debris?

pretty sure it's meant as protection against particulate in the wind and insurgents throwing rocks

From that I understand it's mainly meant as shrapnel protection.

You could always paint some gnarly sideburns on them :)

it reminds me of the very fashionable spartan helmet that was reintroduced to fame by Frank Miller's work in 300 and that has become very popular since.
if you look at it less superficially, you will maybe notice it looks nothing like this
