SD Adapter for M4 - What does it take to work?
 

Recently purchased my first M4 (CA M15A4 CQB SEALs) and Im aiming for the SD look however I have only found information on an RAS SD kit for m4s.

Here is the front end of my gun:

Since I am new to the M4 makes I am not sure if I would have to purchase a new front end to make this work :?

No, because your setup doesn't use a handguard cap, you have a freefloat rail.

Just looked and that isn't actually what the front end of my gun looks like, its like this:

the adapter just looks like it fits onto the barrel and is tightened with a hex bolt. I just can't tell if that piece has threads for the silencer to screw onto
