R.S. Type 56 vs. G&G AK-47 W/S Full Metal

Okay, so after aventures and experiences with SRC's M16A4 with C8 recevier, is still an idea but now that a retailer is offering a Real Sword Type 56, it's hard to pass up. The SRC with C8 receiver seems so pale in comparsion to the real sword type 56, so I'm now looking into the type 56 and thinking i'll get the SRC next season the type 56 sooner. But a buddy of mine has brought to my attention that there is a G&G with full metal and wood, so I'm between a rock and a hard choice because I love the dedicaton of he real sword company has put into the type 56 to make it as close as possible to the real thing but it's also going to my first high quality band named gun and I want to make a wise choice. I know a ton of things about the RS type 56 & type 56-1 but not so much about the G&G AK-47. I would like to know any deciding factors someone would compile if they were in my spot, like any know faults with RS type 56's and the G&G. I understand that the G&G includes a battery but this is something I'm not sure about because batteries are something I'm willing to spend a little extra on so I found a 9.6v 5000mah battery for $50 and shipping so I'm looking for any advice on making an informed decision. Real Sword Price $639 G&G AK-47 $504 W/battery & charger https://www.buyairsoft.ca/rifles/ele...w-s-metal.html (please excuse bad spelling my laptop wireless is fried so I'm on a Iphone)

CAS version AK vs. the best AK variant on the market... go RS or go home! really tho type 56 is amazing!

Just be careful what battery you buy, the type 56 has very little battery space.

That isn't even a good comparison thats like comparing my 2008 Mercedes(RS) to a rusted up 1991 Honda civic(G&G) no fucking competition...

Kid May 10th, 2010 22:14

Well.. the G&G is wood and steel... it's just.... well.... I'd say a 2008 Civic. A TM AK would be a 1991 Civic. But yeah, the RS is still a 2008 Mercedes.

The finish and build of the RS is just awesome. Even the Systema PTW can't compare externally..

go realsword, best type 56 on the market :P

Strelok May 10th, 2010 22:21

Dont waste your time with the G&G.

Ever.

Probably one of the most fustrating guns I have ever owned. If you're going to buy one, dont bother with that cansoft trash because you get what you get. there are little to no aftermarket parts readily available in canada without having to go out of your way to get them.

If you want to compared perhaps RS Type 56 is best compared against Inokatsu, LCT, or maybe LCT in externals...in internals Im not sure who match up.

Go with the Real Sword. There's a reason that most of Manitoba Ivan use them including myself.

KND May 10th, 2010 23:21

The point is Real Sword Type 56 is not really AK 47. It doesn't from mother Russian.

Hairu May 10th, 2010 23:23

Real sword
has no battery and charger but the g&g one yould wanna get new ones anyway
and the real sword is simply the best Ak on the market
the production value is simply outstanding
I would get one but Im not into ak's Im an mp5 guy

KND, if "Russian" is a necessity, then get an Inokatsu and pay 2-3x the price, but at least it will have Russian trademarks.

G&G won't have Russian trades.

I like that RS has the correct reciever size and the quality of the steel and finish is awesome. Inokatsu, in my opinion, looks better, but that's because they make their guns look "worn" and they do a good job of it. RS guns are made to look "new".

edit: I don't know much about LCT builds, so I can't comment on them, but they are Russian styles made of steel and priced just above RS.

depends on what ur style is...
seriously, for those RS sweeties,u have to treat them as real babies..cuz sometimes, maintainance does take a lwhile...

I'm not talking about trade mark but something that actually copy of AK 47 than Type 56 itself, it's like replica of another copy AK47. It's better than take replica of AK 47, right ? also why Inokatsu come in your mind, for the sake of my life. I never touch something like Inokatus, it's just over price in my opinion except I touch PTW like 2 or 3 time.

You don't need go far away. Why not consider CYMA AK 47 or TM AK 47 if you are willing to drop in metal body on it. The only reason that I buy CYMA AK variant is because they have way too many to choose from.

The G&G receivers stock tangs break. If you really want an AK47/M get a VFC, if you want a Chinese version of an AK (Type 56) get the Real Sword.
