"Item on hold at postal facility to verify address of recipient " okay, I call them and verify my address which all seems good, then the next day that package and ANOTHER package coming from a different sender in a different country BOTH say the same message again. WTF??

My package was sent to me and slated for next day shipping. That was the 27th of aug when the prson shipped it to me. Estimated time of delivery was the 29th...it is now the 3rd and the status of the package has been "item processed at local delivery facility ". Whaddafuq canada post.

Have you tried calling them, or your local pickup place to see if its sitting there waiting for you to pick it up...

Leaving a problem be does not solve it >_>

Also, should be getting a refund.

Sounds like it missed the delivery window on the 29th and got backlogged due to the long weekend. Kinda sucks but it happens quite a bit if your package delivery coincides with a holiday weekend, but just call CP to check and see what's going on like Cobra said.

LOL due to the long weekend what was supposed to arrive today is arriving tomorrow. Why can't they work on the weekends too :(

Sigh this is why I miss living in Japan. Bought things online before 3PM you could get it the next morning no additional charge on shipping. I use to shop a lot on Rakuten (Japanese eBay). And if the item was late, you can have the shipping costs refunded to you hassle free. Mail would come even on Saturdays.

Just another day fucking up my mail service. Customer service was useless as usual.

Now the tracking number is saying that it is processed at local delivery centre
are they going to deliver air?

That's just a link to the tracking system. If you want to actually show people the tracking, you have to post the tracking number as well.

Not hating CanPost in this case, but tracking from China is kicking my ass. Tracking has always ended CN for me, and I can track via CanPost right to my door.
Now, with this most recent purchase from Yanwen, it went BeiJing to Canada, tracked right up till it landed on our shores. Now a search brings no joy. CanPost doesn't recognize the number at all. Even 17track doesn't know what to do with a number that ends YW.
The only site that gives results is track.YW56.com, and even with them, the tracking stops at feet dry.

Received a package enveloppe yesterday.
One of the side was partialy open (about 5 cm long), and a item (a NFA knife) was missing.

I've contacted CP and they are supposed to call me in 5 buisness days for some shit.

So for now, my NFA patch costed me 38$
