I finally get to post in here.
http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/198/w855.jpg I found a styrofoam head at a surplus shop. Oddly, it is better looking than me. http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/405/4g0r.jpg Next generation Sordins. They are not available with comms option, these were originally just swanky ear pro, but Steve at SRS had some custom mics made for us by Peltor. These are the best comms headset I have used, they kick the hell out of the Peltor Avengers and last year's Sordins, they really went to town on the processing to give a much more natural sound and ambience. http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/829/e4vb.jpg http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/821/r8bh.jpg My soon to be retired 5-minute ghetto counterweight. Works well though. http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/703/gl4j.jpg Basically, here is what it all is: Ops-Core Base Jump helmet Surefire HL1-A-TN helmet light MSA 75302 ear pro headset Peltor custom boom mic ambidextrous Rookie Arc Rail adapters for Sordins S&S Precision V-Lite Insight Technologies PVS-14 Norotos Rhino mount and J-Arm CTOMS bungee kit Mcguyver ghetto-custom counterweight UVEX eyepro with Transition lenses And yes, it is all real, no airsoft clones here. |
Welcome to the party! Looks good!
You will also find that paper towel rolls work very well for showing off your helmet... And you can also draw a face on it. |

I am fairly certain that I am prettier than a roll of paper towel. So I better stick with the styrofoam head. |
Small update to my lid.

how is the picture quality is like? is it high quality? looks like it can hold in the rain better than the clones
|
Picture quality is GREAT. Awesome part is that these are the most light-weight, high-speed NOD's I've ever had! Wonderful investment on my part for sure! If you ever have the chance to, pick up a pair! You won't be disappointed!
|
Gonna eat extra fibre for the rest of the week and make myself a pair. f*yeah.
|
That must be the civilian model, TPNVG-18's.
