you don't have as wide an flat a face as mine illusion, but I've always found ess asian fit goggles to fit me very nicely, so they'll probably fit you well.

My issue is finding shooting/ballistic glasses.

Getting my hands on a set of discounted military m-frames today.. stay tuned. :D

I've tried the regular ESS Profile NVG in the past, and there was a massive gap at the nose. So I'm expecting the Asian Fits to fit well.

Aside from inserting a battery when I first got them and pushing the low/high/off button I've done zero fiddling with the fan system. Haven't needed to and it's sat around for weeks inbetween usage. I've had a spare batt in my kit but am going to "just do nothing" until this first battery dies. So far...that's all good in my books.

Like I posted previously...I was very happy about the field of view and absence of tunnel vision that you'd normally get off of PB masks/goggles. Did not notice it.

Re. glasses....I've had good luck with Oakleys, Smiths and Remington shooting glasses. I've also found that Browning shooting glasses fit really well. All of those wrap around really well and hug the contours of my face. I wouldn't be able to say what model those were...they were just whatever was on the shelf at the time. A buddy of mine had shooting glasses that he got from Oneshot (they're not listed on their site anymore though)...they could pivot at the temples to adjust the lense angle to the face, which improved airflow and or got the bottom of the lenses off of the cheek bone skin area. I can't remember what they were...but I'll post up if I ask him.

I have a pair of wiley X talons, and if it weren't for the extreme gap at the nose (cause I have a very flat and small nose) they'd been fine.hope the m frames are better. I konw oakley has different sized nose tabs so hopefully they fit.

edit:

m frames fit me a whole lot better than revision sawflys but... nose piece again is too far from my face and it's not really resting on my nose. When pulled tight, the shield starts to make contact with my eyelids.

Again, Oakley Asian Fit fixed that problem for me.

If I were in your shoes, I'd just order in the ones I want, Asian Fit... and if it STILL doesn't fit your abnormally shaped Asian noggin', I'm sure there are more than a few Asians on this forum who will take them off your hands.

must get rid of the m-frames first :P

I will go back to the original plan, order the smith optics asian fit aegis kit from wgc when the m-frames are sold.

There should be a Lebaron sporting out in Ottawa or any real steel gun club. I have a few pairs that I got from Dillion Precision many years ago.

That looks neat

Just ordered me a pair

Let us know how you like it.

Just got a pair of Oakley Radar Path. They fit very well! I am pleasantly surprised at this point.

Just got my Asian-Fit Boogie Regulators from WGC. They definitely will fix anyone who was having problems with the regular ones fitting properly on the bridge of their noses. Also work really well with mesh lowers. If you run a helmet I highly suggest these.

bumping this to update my aegis asian fit from smith optics... it looks like the aegis has been retired, but if you can find a pair of asian fits (if you have a wide head) and if you're like me with a tiny nose; they don't sit right on your nose; the RX insert has an enlarged nose piece you can run without the insert.

With this nose piece on, I finally get 3 proper points of contact with the glasses, and the shield doesn't rest on my brow line or my cheek line. So it's a near perfect fit.

lurkingknight September 13th, 2013 10:10

and again, now that it's bumped, the anti glare or anti scratch coating on my aegis sun lens started flaking off. Smith optics replaced the entire kit for me with the new asian fit aegis arc. Got to love their lifetime warranty.

The frame is a tiny bit flatter and wider, and now the lenses fit my wideass head with tiny nose without the need for the rx carrier nose piece.
