Update: All of the above information that I posted was relayed to Canada Post via their toll free number, they created a SERVICE TICKET number and said that they will be retrieving the package FROM their Mississauga warehouse AGAIN and will attempt to deliver by 6 pm today.... lets see how this one pans out... Posties stutter when caught in their own BS....

^okay thanks alot!

Is the Vancouver Customs office generally slower than Mississauga? I have a package sitting in there for well over a week now witch is strange considering I have NEVER had a package route through Vancouver. Not panicking just curious is all.
|
No, usually when you order something from the other side of the country and it lands in Vancouver, they don't bother to scan it when they load it on the train.
|
same here
i have a package that has been stuck at Vancouver customs since Jan 13th |

Thankfully people have made this thread to satisfy our unique venting needs.
I've been in a constant battle to get my parcels delivered (Of which there seems to be a lot in the last few months with Christmas and online purchases). Fort McMurray is cold. I get this. Ice and snow can be dangerous. This I also understand. What I fail to comprehend is the inability for Canada Post to find my address and delivery my parcel under the following conditions:
Well I decided to take matters in my own hands and ship a package to myself with VERY clear instructions on how that little brown box will make it to my door. Such things as “Rear Entrance” and little helpful things like a map and a step by step guide to get to my house were put on the package. Lots of highlighter green was used. Arrows, oh were there arrows… I thought it was fairly clever but I failed to realize that the box was the exact same size as the parcel box in my mailbox thing (CMU?). I face palmed pretty hardcore when I opened that door up and saw it sitting quite snug in there. Took a lot of work to get it out unfortunately. Well played Canada Post, well played. Oh well, I’ve got a complaint in to them and I hope I never have to find a package requiring a signature left on my neighbors porch again or else I might waste a large amount of money on a HUGE box that they cannot possibly fit inside that CMU. Hope you enjoyed my read as much as I enjoyed getting paid hourly to write it. |
Wow, I've seen something Absolutely weird with Can post !
So, I accept a trade for a gun with someone...... He sends his gun to me, I do the same. Now, I actually am a tracking freak, I check like every hour ! Now, my gun is supposed to get to him on the 24th, good ! But, as I check, I see this on the tracking details : 2011/02/23 AM SAINTE-MARIE Attempted delivery. Notice card left indicating where item can be picked up. 06:59 SAINTE-MARIE Item out for delivery 2011/02/22 19:05 QUEBEC Item processed at postal facility 14:54 SAINTE-MARIE Item accepted at the Post Office As you see, my package went from Ste-Marie, to Quebec city, back to ste-marie, then, today, to me ! What The fuck, Canada Post ??? Really ? So I sent I don't know how many excuses to my trader, like, I knew Canada post was shitty, but not like that ! O_O, I'll be going to bed angry now !! |
