What I don't understand though is, with all the money you've spent on (several) NOD's - why not Thermal?

I had the option to pick up an insight MTM AN/PAS-23, they are roughly the same ballpark as a pvs-15. However thermal for airsoft, and even shooting doesn't work like you think it would.

You can't see details like gear, camo, or aiming lasers. You also can't really navigate a forest with thermal systems. FLIR is a detection system, and since you already know there are enemy players on the field, it makes the solution kinda moot when compared to a visual aid like NVG's.
