thats what happen when you are bored and have a stack of sandpaper here.....:D

that sounds pathetic...lol

Wow.

That slide has a mirror-finish to it. You really do have too much time on your hands, but now I'm inspired to do it too...

grab an extended mag and you can be like the joker

hattrick April 28th, 2009 18:57

It will always be a shame TM glocks dont have extended mags available for them.

For if they had i would have modded my tm glock 17 to full auto a long -LONG- time ago.

grimreefer April 28th, 2009 22:39

I used to have a couple extended mags for my glock. Pouches to fit them were hard to come by, and the gun flops around too much when holstered. Cool for a pistols only game.

Thenooblord April 28th, 2009 22:42

glock 26/27 etc are HILARIOUS with long mags! lol

Xenos-Fear April 29th, 2009 09:53

Are you using 3M Stainless cleaner for this ? :P

Really nice piece. Really. I'm planning to get a TM Glock soon.

I got a replacement propane filler nozzle from AI(to replace the one I forgot at TTAC...lol), finally got to shoot this one. The blowback actually isn't that sluggish and it is quite smooth. The steel slide set is pretty awesome...

Where'd you get that high grit sandpaper?

Beautiful gun, and great job on the polishing. The Glock is the next pistol for me.

RacingManiac November 1st, 2009 18:10

CT is probably the easiest...since fine sandpaper is usually for automotive finishing....

takealap November 17th, 2009 17:23

Do you think that finish can be achieved with any metal slide? Pgc slide in particular?

RacingManiac November 17th, 2009 22:52

Technically yes, since most metal polished to be silver in color, any ones I've seen they make slide from anyhow. but most, stainless included, will oxidize over time, resulting in the finish getting dull. Pot-metal ones may actually grow dark(ie, lower frame of Hi-Capa for example), and aluminum ones will be easy to get scratched up since they are soft in nature. In those cases it might be best to seal it with some sort of outer coat to preserve the finish.
