JPCs, 6094's, RRVs and any chest rig will all fit you.

Cut the straps, burn the ends and you're good.

Because RRV are plate carriers.

Ciras, MBAV, OTV... those are "full size" body armor that will not fit super tall, slim guys. Or asian small people unless they use asian sized rigs.

The JPC might be very small and low profile, but it's still sized for soldiers that are not necessary very tall and slim. I don't know how tight the waist ajustement panels can go or the shoulders. I just know the rig look small when worn, because it's basically just a eSAPI plate with a skeleton rig around to fit pouches.

comes in tan, green, black and mc. very small plate carrier. You could probably supplement it with a battle belt to give you all the molle you need

For some odd reason i am a fan of issue body armor. Its big and clunky bit i have always ran it even when i was skinnier. All i have is otv mtv and iotv lol. They are all medium and fit me. Again i am 6"1 175lbs.

You might want to look into soft armor carriers like the PACA low vis and use fake plates on your plate carriers. This will bulk you up to fit your rigs better.

I use a rrv. I crossed the shoulder straps and made the waist buckle really tight. Doesn't move around and lets me carry a decent amount of ammo without being bulky. I run 6 m4 gbb mags and 2 pistol mags/admin pouch with a molle holster and a utility pouch. I'd say my rig weighs about 20-25 pounds with all my stuff on it. No complaints..really comfy and I don't feel the weight at all

When running chest rigs, do you guys ever feel like the rig is front heavy?

I used to that's why I switched to a plate carrier I tried out a few chest rigs and none of them I found nearly as comfortable in weight distribution as my plate carrier and even though it weighs a good 30-40lbs fully loaded I barely feel it in the field granted I am 5'8 200lbs I'm used to carrying "extra weight" anyways :P

Well I'll give another vote for the Shellback. Im 5'9 160lb and 31-32 waist and the Shellback fits nicely on me, of course though I have dummy plates in them to give it the rigidity, without them though, a little loose.

Fully loaded, it will be front heavy. This can be mitigated by ajusting it well.
The only exception is on a RRV with a plate in the front pocket, no amount of straps tightening will fix the weight unballancing. I either add the rear plate carrier or put a hydro carrier in the back to counter ballance the rig.

The other solution is to wear the plates in a body armor under the RRV... But then you are scaling your protection level, wich create more problems if your mission does not require it.

My light setup is 6 mags, radio, Ifak (med pouche) and 2 frag grenades. The rig is about 20-30 pounds and it don't feel front heavy, even if all the weight is at the front and nothing in the back.

On that picture, I had body armor with SAPI plates under, but I wear the same setup without and the fit is prefect. I just tighten the straps.

I find chest rigs front heavy with gbbr mags. But with aeg mags I dont notice anything.

Sure that is normal. Your hydration pack will balance it until you run out of water.

If you have a pistol run it on a belt or drop leg.

Using polymer magazines also help if you run an AEG.

In the end, this is not a little kiddy game either. A proper setup will get heavy, you will sweat, it will shaff and make some of your body part hurt.

Being front heavy is not as bad as many other things.

I'll get in line and say I got the same problem, maybe even to a greater extent even, being the 5'7"-5'8" at only 125lbs (if I read another post saying you feel light at 150-160lbs I'll go to your house and rid you of that "extra" weight and eat it in the morning! :P)

Mind you I got some good muscular endurance though

Been eying the RRV as we'll because of this mainly but still not sure it's what I need;

So far I tried the following:

Cheap ACM FSBEII; clearly not a good fit
TT mav1 with TT backpack, not too bad but still a bit too large even at its smallest
Specips Hellcat MK2 rig, which is very similar to a TT Mav2, but maybe even a bit bigger

So in the end, I still don't know what would work and wouldn't

I need to carry 7-8 GBBR mags plus 3-4 long mags for pistol/SMG (Kwa Lm4 Pmags, heavy as shit, TM g18 or KWA mp7 long mags)

So I'd need to be able to distribute that weight efficiently and make sure I don't float in the rig

I rather have a lightweight rig that wouldn't hinder movements, not a big fan of plate carriers (I think)
