First airsoft gun I bought was a WE HiCapa for about $200, obviously wasn't game worthy so I bought my first AEG which was a Tokyo Marui P90 for about $700, package came loaded with mags and whatnot.

500$ TM AUG from Rangers airsoft.

250 on Wells m4. I've had it almost one years no problems no upgrades, still shoots 360. I just recently baught a src Gen 3 m4 and i still use the Wells to bring my buddies to airsoft games.

180 for my jg sig552-used

Just over $600 for me for a Classic Army G36.

200$ US for a WE 1911 full metal
600$ for a WE PDW

without counting the accessories and shananigans....

300 ish on my jg m4 s-system
450 Dboys AK74
900 B.C.R

350 for a completely broken to shit TM M16VN... by the time it was running it was about 550

760 on a Classic army m24. Loved that thing.

Total of $1100 of on my first airsoft gun purchase.

$500, TM Thompson with 3 mags, BB's, and Batteries. Go big or go home.
Later on....$650 Classic army M16a4. it has been my work horse. fantasitc battle rifle.

Edit: Technicaly the M16 was a gift. but thats what its value was at the time.

$350 for TM MP5K PDW used, rental gun; who knows the atrocities it had seen. That was over 5 years ago and I still have it, still works great!

....So I guess the answer to your question is "yes virginia, there is quality airsoft, but you must pay for it. Airsoft is one of the greatest examples of "you get what you pay for" .
